Lisa Su, the CEO of semiconductor firm Advanced Micro Devices, has led one of the greatest recent turnarounds in the technology sector. AMD's stock has soared more than 25-fold since Su became CEO in 2014, propelling it to a $110 billion market capitalization as early as July 2021. Su was born in Taiwan and immigrated to the United States as a child. After graduating from the Bronx High School of Science, Su matriculated to MIT, earning a bachelor's and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering.
